Britain cannot retreat into splendid isolation

   Theresa May this week spoke in America about Britain's new role in the world, and the need for humility after the disasters of Iraq. Yes, Britain cannot swagger about the world as it once did. But as John Bew argues, in a continuation of his work with Jo Cox MP before her death, there is still a role for the UK to play in protecting the norms we have done so much to establish, and that have saved and improved so many lives.
